Performances
We have a traditional dance recital in the spring annually. We are featured dancers at Mt. Holly Springfest every year. One of our favorite events is dancing in the Mt. Holly Christmas parade! The Ovation Competition teams attend 3-4 regional competitions each year.
Awards
Our dancers always command a crowd! We are known through the area for interesting and new choreography. We are the home of 12 current and former National Titleholders, as well as 2 former America's Dancers of the Year. Our competitive teams have received Regional and National Top Score Awards, as well as recognition for their choreography and entertainment value. Barbie's Encore Dance Productions was named "2009-2010 National Studio of the Year" at Dance Machine National Competition. Barbie's Encore Dance Productions was named as a top 3 finalist for Best Dance Studio in Gaston County in 2024. Our students go on to perform and enjoy dance well into their adult lives!
Preschool Programs
We offer a fun-filled relaxed environment for young dancers. They enjoy learning the art of dance to songs they know and love, like Disney, The Wiggles, and Sesame Street.
